We went to the "Lake Shrine" which is a garden/lake open to the public for all-faith spiritual reflection. We walked around and sat for a while, enjoying the smells and sounds. We saw a little mouse in the flower bed. Here is a picture of me trying to look relaxed:
We also went for an unplanned hike up Topanga Canyon. I usually don't go hiking in a skirt but, we were being spontaneous.
So now you know that we have nature in LA. (Also... of note, I think they filmed the opening sequence of M*A*S*H in these hills somewhere.)
