We were thinking of celebrating Easter this year. It's the sort of holiday that is funner when you are a kid and can hunt for eggs, over-indulge in candy without guilt, and someone else does all the cooking and egg-deviling and cleaning up after.
Instead, we just decided to make a big breakfast and spend some time together as a family. It was enough. No ham, mashed potatoes, and homemade rolls... but no grocery trip, piles of dishes, and hours over the stove, either.
Happy whatever-you-celebrate for Spring.
